Classic City Resort offers comfortable accommodations just 5 to 7 minutes' walk from Hualien Railway Station and a 10-minute drive from the city center. It provides an in-house restaurant, a business center and a tour desk for guests’ convenience. WiFi is also free in all rooms.

The resort is located a 8-minute drive from Dongdamen Night Market where is famous food outlets and souvenir shops. It takes 15 minutes to drive to Hualien Airport.

Very close to Hualien train station and comfortable rooms.

The room size was nice and rooms were clean. Bathrooms were in separate room. The room we had, had a very large king size bed. The hotel was clean and attractive. They held our luggage for us when we arrived early and had umbrellas for us to use. It was very close to Hualien train station. Walkable to many restaurants.

The breakfast choices and drinks could have been better. Service at breakfast wasn't as great as we have seen at other hotels. They did not take plates away.

Nice room with poor breakfast

The room was really nice and cozy.

The breakfast was poor. Practically identical every day during our 4 night stay with almost zero options of meat for people who don't eat pork. The stir fried vegetables were soupy and tasteless. The staff didn't speak any English. It was only possible to communicate using Google translate.

Wonderful

Great location - 5 minutes walk from the railway and bus station, large and comfortable bed, very clean facilities.

The hotel could be more generous with the shampoo and soap as they provide it in sachets. The hotel breakfast is average.

Excellent value for money in a good location.

Excellent location within very easy walking distance of the bus & train stations. Hotel was pleasant, spacious & the bedrooms were well equipped with more space than usual.

Very mild complaint. We were visiting Hualien to go to the Taroko Gorge (a common reason for staying in Hualien). I know that hotels aren't substitutes for tourism offices, but I was a little surprised that the hotel had no information about getting there at all.

Very Good

GRAPE and clean. There was a water dispenser for guests which was very thoughtful and convenient. Checking in and out was fuss free and very smooth

Rooms were not soundproof. Lifts were not sufficient to meet capacity, we often had to wait quite a while. Extra pillows were chargeable

Excellent service and location. Free breakfast and bike rentals

We enjoyed our stay here. Friendly staff, good breakfast options, and spacious, clean, comfortable rooms. The free bike rentals were a highlight for us - nice way to get around Hualien. The hotel is a short walk from the train and bus stations, and near many restaurants and cafes.

There was some mold along the bottom of the shower door, but the rest of the bathroom was quite clean.

Wonderful

Staffs are friendly and enthusiastic. The hotel is near Hualien train station, about 10 mins on foot. Breakfast is so so. Room is good.

The hotel can not issue me the company invoice in English.

accommodation feeling

the location was very convenient for walking from station to hotel if you are traveling by walking. the breakfast was good and the dishes were changing and a little bit different, it's easy but considerable for customers.

the price was a little bit expensive and the room was too small. the shampoo and the shower gel were not enough to use.

Greta would love it (and we did, too)

Nice, clean and comfortable room, with a good and very large bed. Free coffee and water in the lounge. Friendly and helpful staff and free bikes to use, even after checkout.

We booked the ‘eco friendly room’ and upon arrival found out that this meant that no soap, shampoo or even towels were provided in the room. At the reception, we were informed we could pay extra for those items. Even though we agree that these individually packaged toiletries are detrimental to the environment, we couldn’t see how providing us with a soap/shampoo dispenser, would be more harmful to the environment than us bringing our own. And we would expect a four star hotel to provide at least towels. Except if Classic City Resort expects environmentally conscious people to all be unwashed smelly people, of course. But in that case they could have skipped providing the shower altogether. We couldn’t help but notice that the hotel in their own administration described the room not as ‘eco friendly’ but as ‘extra cheap room’. But surely the hotel would not be cynical enough to use the environment as a marketing tool, now would they?

It’s a ok experience, but I would choose another next time

It is comfortable.

The parking space is limited. If you don’t park in their own parking lot. They only provide NT 200 for you. You need to pay the remaining amount. If you park overnight, it definitely exceeds NT200.

i will not go back to this hotel, rather an airbnb, at least the airbnb has a microwave!

There was one staff that was helpful but the manager (eric) was not fit for his job, he was rude and uncaring. they are not trained, the housekeeping was great in the morning but no housekeeping at night. i will not recommend anyone there, it needs retraining. the place was nice, but only the "very few" new what is "service" and that was not the manager. we weren't happy at all

Nice location and bed to stay

The bed is comfortable and the location is good. There are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby.

The parking lot is not big enough for the guests thought they provide two private parking lots to park but only 200$ limitation they will give the refund back. We paid nearly another 200$ for parking lots. We stayed for two nights.
